Ascension 2012
Sat 9th June - 10.30am - 5.30pm | Brighton Unitarian Church | Free admission - donations to Autism
Come and enjoy a brilliant day out and experience spirituality, have readings, complementary therapies, try health and wellbeing products and indulge in some retail therapy. It will be a fantastic day of celebration, charity and enlightenment, where all proceeds taken at the door will be donated to local Autistic groups.
Organisers Chris and Anja Kasparis, have devoted their time, energy and money freely, to set up this wonderful event. The inspired idea behind the project is to raise awareness of the plight of Autistic kids, their parents and carers. The general medical treatment for Autism is chemical based. Suffers are dosed up on Ritalin and in some cases Prozac! Our schools struggle to fund special needs teachers, who are vital if we are going to give these kids the education they deserve. Chris and Anja have provided a platform where spirituality, alternative education, complementary health, colour therapy, music, dance & movement can be explored to aid suffers and enhance the quality of life for them, their parents and carers.
There will be demonstrations, talks, entertainment, kids face-painting, juggling and 33 stands manned by the most elite, professional, dedicated consultants, teachers, healers and therapists. To make the day even more special local toy horse breeder Tikki Adorian will be parading a couple of her gorgeous little horses outside the venue!
