Fun & Fitness
Lynn Wanders has always enjoyed exercise and in particular dance but it has only been through her training and experience as a Personal and Professional Development Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, and her exploration of contemporary dance and particularly Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms, that Lynn discovered the full value of dance, music and exercise, and that the mind and body truly are one integrated system. Lynn set up Fun & Fitness Dancercise in 2004 and now runs 5 classes per week for adults ranging from 16 to 70+. More than just an exercise class, learning and remembering simple dance routines built up over the weeks gives the mind as well as the body a complete workout. Lynn Wanders explains "Fun & Fitness Dancercise is an excellent medium for helping release blocked energy, keeping fit, having fun, training yourself to stay present in the moment, helping bring balance to body and mind. The new website has been designed to provide lots of facts about the benefits of Dancercise as well as practical tips on how to get the most out of my classes."
Lynn also organises fund raising events and a group from her Fun & Fitness Dancercise Classes took part in the "Thrill the World" simultaneous worldwide dance event in October 2008 learning and performing Michael Jackson's Thriller dance. This event raised just under £5,000 for Scotts Project Trust in Tonbridge.
The new website at www.dancerciseclasses.co.uk includes sections on Why Dancercise?, Research & Facts, Top Tips, Times & Venues, Class Format, FAQs, and Offers & Events.
Lynn's latest offer is the opportunity for anyone interested in trying out a session to sign up to one of her two free taster sessions on Saturday 31st October from 10 - 11am and 11am to noon at Delarue Hall in Tonbridge (Delarue Close, off Shipbourne Road).
