Health, Beauty and Breathing!
Did you know the chances are you breathe badly?
Did you know that could be the underlying cause of many of your health problems?
Did you know that a child's poor breathing can affect structural development of their features?
Did you know you can learn to improve your breathing in just five days?
You probably answered "No" to these questions as we all presume we breathe OK and no doctor has ever told us our health or childhood development may be critically affected by our breathing.
The truth is that breathing matters more than you could ever imagine.
Don't take my word for this but at least check it out for yourself here, right now.
Sit quietly for a couple of minutes, then take a normal breath in through your nose, breathe out gently, hold your nose and keep your mouth shut. Time how long you can comfortably hold your breath before releasing your nose. This is a measure of your breathing rate. So how did you do?
If your comfortable breath hold (after an out breath) is 45 to 60 seconds you are among the top 10% of the population and should be enjoying good health as a rule. If you managed 30 to 45 seconds then your breathing is not a cause for concern but there is room for improvement. Should you have only managed 20 to 30 seconds you can be fairly sure that your health and wellbeing is being compromised by your poor breathing and needs attention. For those achieving under 20 seconds there is almost certainly serious adverse impact on your health, you may be suffering asthma, anxiety attacks, angina, breathlessness, ME, IBS, hypertension, sleep apnoea, snoring, enphysema, sinusitis, migraines or any number of other conditions. The good news is that you can improve your breathing in a very short time with training and once your breathing is returned to normal many of your symptoms and health problems will diminish or clear altogether and need for medication will usually be reduced, more good news for you and your doctor!
