A Journey into Consciousness

Brandon Bays

A few years ago I came across a video interview of a woman who had been healed of Cancer without the use of medication or surgery. I remembered her shining eyes, radiant smile and soft voice as she spoke of emotions and repressed cell memories, how they remain stored in the body, holding you back emotionally and physically and the importance of learning forgiveness to allow the body to heal.

Four years on, speaking to Brandon Bays about the process she calls The Journey, I am again reminded of how inspirational she has become around the world. I managed to schedule an interview, between Brandon moving into a temporary home while her new eco home is being created and travelling throughout 32 countries, speaking about The Journey Process and the benefits of bringing it into schools, hospitals and businesses.

Science has now established that when you feel strong emotions, which are then repressed, they can result in your cell receptors becoming blocked. Brandon's process is designed as an invitation to go on your own journey to unblock these cells. She is quick to correct me when I suggest that we should take responsibility for our own healing. She believes that we co-participate, "It isn't as if we deliberately did it on purpose, we didn't become ill knowingly, so our illness is not totally our fault, but we can participate in our own healing".

She also likes people to come to the process with a healthy amount of scepticism "hold onto your enquiring mind, find your own truth, learn to release and let go because your body is capable of healing".

Brandon's Story

Brandon's own story has been a difficult one: childhood abuse, the suicide of her father, developing Cancer, her partner leaving her, loosing her job, her house burning down and making her homeless. Her personal story reminds us that whatever life throws at us there is always a solution, always hope and a way back from any situation.

Having read Brandon's new book ‘Consciousness The New Currency', I was eager to hear her thoughts about the current economic climate. "I believe we need a new healthy way to move forward, people are looking for ways to look after themselves and the planet"

This is not a book about making money, it is about becoming conscious of our surroundings and the choices we make. Kevin, her husband and co-author, has been working in New Zealand liberating ‘work consciousness in the workplace' and has noticed the dramatic shift in the way businesses now see themselves, the top three buzzwords in business are Conscience, Integrity and Sustainability. Every company wants to grow and flourish, creating a nurturing environment for their employees. Their new book helps to explain the process and gives instructions on how to start your own Journey process into consciousness and in doing so bring about positive changes to your own health and financial stability.

We still have a long way to go in the UK, she speaks of work she is doing with schools in Israel, having recently met with their Minister for Education and 500 of their top educators. They are working with Cancer hospitals in the US, where nurses are reading the Journey Process to patients.

In trauma units in Johannesburg, they use Journey work to speed up the healing process. She explains that when someone is involved in a car accident, time slows down, terror comes up as they fear for their life, on impact the body goes into shock and releases biochemicals which blocks the cells. The patient is rushed into hospital and the Journey process helps to release the fear of death, enabling new cells to be created without the trauma.

So their new book is a call to action for you to participate in your own healing and in the process the healing of our planet.

Brandon's advice for a positive start to 2010:

Read good sources of information, books, positive news, keep up to date with what is going on in the world but don't watch news living in fear.

If you are currently unwell, look at the whole picture - listen to what the medical field suggest, then look for alternative so that you can participate in your own healing.

Look at your nutrition and learn about the acid and alkaline balance (read books like the PH Miracle by Dr Robert Young).

Cleanse once a year using colonics, using herbs for cleansing, find a good naturopathic nutritionist, use your local therapists and invest in a good body maintenance programme.

Use Journey work to clear away old emotions.

Learn to meditate, go for walks in nature, eat living foods.

Nourish yourself with good company and people who support you.

The Journey Process

The New Currency

The practitioner takes you on a journey, going back to memories that suddenly and without warning arise from the subconscious. Sometimes they seem trivial, others can be devastating. Although they appear forgotten they are still having an impact on our current situation, whether it be health, relationships or financial. My own process took an astonishing three hours. It felt like an hour so when I came back to full awareness I was surprised to find that the light outside had faded. Patricia explained that everyone's journey is different, I just had a lot of things I wanted to clear. I went with an outcome in mind and while I personally didn't have a dramatic life changing event, the changes have been subtle, a feeling that everything is falling into place and that I have a new found awareness of my situation. The treatment was a few weeks ago and yesterday another piece to my puzzle fell into place. I feel excited about the potential of what the Journey has taught me and am eager to explore the process even further.
