Magnus Agugu

I first met Magnus at a business breakfast meeting in Crowborough. An unlikely place to meet a 6ft 7" African masseur, dressed in full African robes. That was four years ago and since then Magnus has worked his magic at our Wellbeing events, my father-in-laws 60th Birthday and last year at our wedding.

Magnus is no ordinary masseur, he is also a healer, a decendant of healers from the Izon tribe. He has a presence that makes him stand out and not just because of his height. His calm nature, big smile and warm heart make the room light up when Magnus walks into the room. People gravitate towards him, wanting to experience the gentle hands of this wonderful healer.

I have seen people who have never had a massage, people who insist that massage is not for them, line up in anticipation of what his "healing hands" may uncover.

Having Magnus at your special event, whether a fund raiser, birthday or even your wedding will make for a truly memorable experience.

A year on people still talk about Magnus the Masseur and how unique it was to have him offer our guests a few minutes of ‘bliss' at our wedding.

I spoke to Magnus this morning and talked about his plans for the future, he plans to massage a million people in his lifetime and knowing Magnus this is an goal he will achieve. He has raised £1000s of pound for charities, auctioning himself for parties and events, he has massaged the rich and famous and last week he massaged Joseph McClendon III at our wellbeing event "Further Faster".

So if you are organising an event or party in 2011, give Magnus the Masseur a call and make your day a memorable one by giving your guests the gift of ‘relaxation and healing'...what better way to say thank you to your friends and family.
