Curves

Curves in Eastbourne have been giving women the opportunity to get more active by taking part in a six week national exercise programme which ran throughout the summer. Angie Fenner from Hailsham is just one of the many women who is delighted with the results she has achieved.

She lost one stone and dropped a dress size during the summer. "I'm amazed at the results I've achieved after only six weeks of exercise. It's made me realise that I don't have to settle for a ‘tractor size' spare tyre! I now fully intend to carry on exercising to reduce my midriff until it becomes more like a bicycle tyre instead!" She added, "Besides losing weight I've also got so much more energy now and much better coordination and balance too. I'd certainly advise women who don't exercise to think again and have a go. I know that I wish now I'd taken up exercise a long time ago."

The MoreActive4Life initiative engaged people to take up an active life not just to lose weight but also to help them reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases. If you're motivated to get involved why not pop into Curves in Eastbourne or visit www.curves.com or tel 01323 648837.
