One Day Workshop on on Jin Shin Acupressure (Self-Help)
Venue: The Village Hall, Bells Yew Green, Nr. Tunbridge Wells, TN3 9AF
Date: Friday 18th May 2012
Time: 11.00 am – 5.00 pm

Jin Shin, in Japanese, is the art of getting to know and help yourself. This art is over 5000 years old and was rediscovered by the philosopher Master Jiro Murai. This was brought to the United States in the 1940s by Mary Burmeister, then to Europe in the mid 1980s.  When the body’s natural energy is freely flowing, it has a huge capacity to heal itself.  The ancient cultures in which Jin Shin developed identified the areas of the body we tend to ‘block’ and devised sequences of ‘touch’ to release them.  We can utilise these sequences which are totally non-invasive and cannot harm the body in any way, to restore the body’s naturally harmonious, healthy state.  Jin Shin is a simple, portable and free method of helping ourselves and our families to better health.

In this One Day Workshop, our aim is to look at, study and share:

  • A brief history and the main concept of Jin Shin
  • The meaning and location of the 26 energy release points on our body
  • The Main Central Harmoniser flow
  • The finger releases
  • Our 24 hour body clock
  • Flows for the 12 organs
  • Flows for: arthritis, hip problems, colds and flu, headaches, digestion problems and many more
At the end of the day you will have a deeper understanding of what Jin Shin is and how to begin working with this beautiful system on yourself, family and friends.
