Open Gardens

Local gardens open for charity
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

This summer sees the opening of three new gardens in the Sussex villages of Laughton and Muddles Green.

The latter is home to Netherwood Lodge a beautiful bed and breakfast and rural retreat which opens its garden gates this year on 10 July. Created by the present owner over the last 20yrs, its pretty romantic borders, roses, interesting climbers and seasonal pots won’t fail to inspire. A plant stall with locally grown shrubs and plants will be available and teas with homemade cake will be on sale (all profits to charity.) Other local gardens include ‘Woodside’ and Mayfield House in Laughton.

Open Sat 10 July (2-5pm). For info www.netherwoodlodge.co.uk or www.ngs.org.uk.
