Reach your physical peak at world's highest mountain

Friday, March 26th, 2010
If you're looking for the ultimate physical challenge, then what better way to put your stamina to the test than by conquering the world's highest mountain!

Breast Cancer Campaign is calling on all gutsy fundraisers with a sense of adventure to pull on their hiking boots and sign up to its Everest Base Camp trek to help the charity continue funding vital breast cancer research.

This extreme adventure (running from 1 - 17 October 2010) combines panoramic scenery with some of the most intense trekking conditions in the world as you attempt to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, the highest peak of the Nepalese Himalayas. It is a tough challenge that puts even the fittest legs to the test as you undertake steep mountain trails at high altitude. But the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and the outstanding sense of achievement waiting for you at the end make it all worthwhile.

Kelly Walton, Breast Cancer Campaign's Events Executive, said "Taking part in Campaign's Everest Base Camp trek is the perfect way to improve your physical fitness while exploring some of the most amazing scenery in the world. It's not everyday you get to take part in such an incredible accomplishment and it's a great way to make new friends. So sign up now to experience the challenge of a lifetime and help Breast Cancer Campaign beat breast cancer."

Participants are requested to register by July 2010. More dates are available throughout 2010.
