As people start to plan their holidays for 2013, national charity Deafness Research UK is reminding us to spare a thought for in-flight ear health before they take to the skies. An independent survey commissioned by the charity shows over 70% experience some health problems when flying, with ear pain the most common and upsetting complaint.

After a busy week, the promise of a trip to the beautiful county of Shropshire for a night of rest and relaxation was just what we needed.
